Yup Polo, not Polocrosse.     Real Polo is back in the lineup of USPC sports.    I learned polo when I was a pony clubber and it is pretty intense.   This is a sport for bigger kids and the guys – the polo mallet is much heavier than a polocrosse racquet.     I encourage everyone to give it a try.  See the details of a Introduction to Polo School with David Brooks below.  Contact David to sign up.   Practice/clinic is being held at his property at Crooked Creek Farm in Person County (outside of Hillsborough, NC).

USPC Facts

USPC was formed in 1954.
In 2011 there were approximately:
546 Pony Clubs
57 Pony Club Riding Centers
54 Horsemaster Groups

Individuals Volunteering:
325 at the National Level
298 at the Regional Level
2,363 at the Local Level

All serving over 10,000 Youth (ages 4 - 25) and Adult members, and the number above does not include the thousands of volunteers who are not on record at the National Office.

With a staff of under 20, Pony Club is truly a volunteer run organization - thank you to everyone who makes this program possible!
